Kerry Freeman - USA Americana Country Music Born and raised on the dusty plains of west Texas, Kerry Freeman was exposed at an early age to music. Country music, gospel, western swing and even Texas blues. This music was as much a part of him as the dirt and the wind that never seemed to go away. Heavily influenced by the likes of the Eagles, Eric Clapton, and Vince Gill, he decided to form his own band and began playing dancehalls, honky-tonks and bars all over Texas, New Mexico and Colorado. This eventually led to opportunities opening for and sharing the stage with some of the biggest names in country music. Out of that came the opportunity to start playing internationally. With a demand for American artists, and the exploding troubadour scene in Scandinavia, he played all over Europe performing everywhere from Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland to Switzerland. He has spent his life making music, and with the recent release of his studio album "It's Texas" it is obvious those influences have had a profound impact on him as an artist. "For me what matters most are the relationships I've made along the way. The people I've met and the places I've been, those two things have made me who I am today.
